A new twice monthly service of Evening Business Surgeries on the first and third Thursdays of every month has been launched. The surgeries are staffed by officers from the council's employment and enterprise team and business owners will be able to get access to a range of services including business support.
Whether you have an established business or you are thinking of starting up one, the employment and enterprise team can point you in the right direction to get the advice you need. Your business is an essential part of Lambeth's identity and economic success. We would like Lambeth to be a place where innovation and enterprise can flourish. We also want local businesses to have access to the practical advice they need, particularly in the current economic climate.
Businesses will be able to access a range of services including:
access to finance
access to local business networks and forums
adult learning
availability of commercial properties in the borough
bidding for council and public sector contracts
business advice and guidance services
business management training and support
employment and apprenticeships
environmental business support
general business support
inward investment
social enterprise support
support and advice for women in business
directing to other council services such as planning, parking, licensing, trading standards and business rates.
The surgeries are provided by the council and run between 5pm–7pm. Each one is free to attend and open to all residents and businesses in the borough.
